On a rainy Sunday morning in February 1996, Canyon Hills Church opened it’s doors for the first time.

For 9 months prior to that, 8 couples had been meeting together constantly —praying, planning, giving. Dreaming of the day when 100s of people would discover life with God and community with each other through this church.

And now here we are. And here you are. Over the past 9 years, we've grown from 8 families to well over 150 families and singles. Dozens and dozens of people, including many of you reading this, began to discover life with God here in the "old land." Well over half of you would say, Yeah, this is the first church I've ever really connected with. This is where I discovered God. This is where I was baptized. This is where I first learned what community was about. This is where my kids first heard about God.

The old land has been good to us. But it isn't home. And now it's time to hear our calling and join an adventurous journey to a new land.
