The past 9 years have been the most meaning-full of my life. The opportunity to help lead this community of Christ-followers, and the amazing and near daily experience of seeing the impact of this church on each of our lives, causes me to breathe deep prayers of gratitude to God.

And now we stand at the brink of a brand new adventure. An adventure unparalleled in our young history as a church.

TerraNova.

The name means new land. And it's a name that we've given to this next season in our church's history as we begin to step out of the place we've been for 9 years and into some new territory.

This journey will involve some changes for us — changes in facility and changes in staff as we expand our leadership. It will result in increased small groups, increased service times, increased opportunities for all of us to pray more earnestly and serve and give sacrificially.

And it will mean increased spiritual growth for all of us as we say "Yes!" to God, and a big increase in our impact upon our world. It's going to be an exciting few years ahead!

How far will our journey take us? As far as we will allow God to reach into our lives and as far as we are willing to follow his calling. Please take a few moments to read prayerfully through the enclosed information. As you do, begin praying a simple prayer: "God, what do you want to do through me to fulfill your purpose for Canyon Hills?" Then, join us for a 5-week series of messages beginning Sunday, January 30. And be prepared to take your own step of faith with us on Sunday, February 27.
