Easter 2005

Easter is a great time to get a "little religious." To put on the Sunday best, the Easter bonnet, and go to church. But many of us (if we were honest) would have to admit that we're a little conflicted by the whole religion thing. There are times when it feels appropriate. But much of the time, religion leaves us feeling a bit cold, empty, and confused. You might be surprised to know that Jesus concurs. In fact, surrounded as he was by very devout, religious people, Jesus challenged people to "lose the religion" and instead spoke of authentic spiritual life.
