Getting involved in
Project Mexico is easy! No experience is necesssary, and the opportunity
is open to everyone (including families with kids).
1. Register and Pay Your Tuition
You'll need to fill out a Registration form (click here
to download, PDF, 376k), print it out, fill it out, then either
bring to the Project Mexico Info table on Sunday, fax it to the
Canyon Hills offfices (949-458-2425), or give it to your team leader.
Tuition is $55 for adults, $45 for kids under 14 (covers your food,
accommodations and car insurance).
2. Attend Team Meetings
Once you're signed up and registered, you'll be assigned to a team,
and notified by your team leader when and where your team meeting
will be. At the meeting, you'll learn about Project Mexico details,
discuss team member roles, transportation, fundraising and more.
3. Fundraising
Each team is responsible for raising $4,700 to pay for the materials
for their home. As a result, each volunteer needs to raise approximately
$250 toward the cost of these materials. All fundraising must be
raised in advance of the trip, as materials are purchased before
the trip.
